G-Union Hosts Successful 1-Day Seminar Empowering Ghanaian Community in Thailand
Bangkok, April 16, 2025 — The Ghanaian Union in Thailand (G-Union) proudly hosted a vibrant and impactful 1-day seminar that brought together members of the Ghanaian diaspora and key educational stakeholders for a day of learning, collaboration, and empowerment.
Held at the Pentecost Church in Bangkok, the seminar drew over 40 participants, the majority of whom were Ghanaian educators and professionals residing in Thailand. The event featured interactive sessions on classroom management, curriculum development, business networking, land acquisition processes, and an in-depth workshop titled "Mastering AI" tailored to introduce teachers to the power of artificial intelligence in education.
One of the highlights of the day was the hands-on training session on AI tools, where attendees explored platforms such as ChatGPT, SlidesAI, and MagicSchool.ai to understand how AI can be applied to lesson planning, grading, and communication.
The program began with a dynamic panel discussion that set the tone for the day, followed by focused presentations by esteemed speakers including Mr. Masong, Dr. Shao, Mr. Donkor, Mr. Sharick, and Mr. Somuah. Each session provided practical strategies and tools that participants could immediately apply in their personal and professional lives.
Certificates of participation were presented to all attendees as a token of recognition for their commitment to growth and development. A group photo, taken with smiles and certificates in hand, symbolized the unity and enthusiasm of the G-Union community.
"This seminar is a testament to what we can achieve when we come together with a shared vision," said Mr. Donkor, President of G-Union. "We are committed to empowering our people not just socially, but also technologically and professionally."
The seminar concluded with networking opportunities, light refreshments, and renewed energy among participants to continue building a stronger, more connected Ghanaian community in Thailand.
